Day One

After long flights and long waits I have arrived safely. The family I am staying with are great and have been very welcoming. The country is much more beautiful than I imagined but there is a lot of remnants from the wars in the past. UN trucks are prevalent as well as the local guard so this is very strange from America. The living conditions are very nice compared to most third world countries though and I had a hot shower this morning. I am slightly jet lagged so I have been tired most of the day. I am doing well and will try to update again soon. Love you all.
